What’s the difference between the Classic Hello and the Legendary Hello?

• The Classic Hello is our signature letter — a beautifully printed message from your child’s chosen hero. It’s full of warmth, encouragement, and story magic straight from the hero’s world.

• The Legendary Hello includes everything in the Classic Hello, but goes one step further — it’s personalized with details you provide about your child, making it a truly one-of-a-kind letter written just for them.

How are the letters personalized?
Every letter feels special, but only our Legendary Hello letters include personal details about your child — the kind you share during checkout. Your child’s name, favorite hobbies, and a few fun facts help shape a unique message written especially for them. Classic Hello letters, on the other hand, are beautifully written story-style letters that celebrate imagination and bravery without including personal information.

Bundles and Subscriptions

What’s the difference between a bundle and a subscription?
Bundles are prepaid sets of letters — for example, 3-, 6-, or 12-letter bundles that are sent monthly and end automatically once the final letter is delivered. Subscriptions are ongoing and renew automatically, perfect for families who want the magic to continue week after week or month after month.

When will my child’s first letter arrive?
We do our best to send each letter as quickly as possible after it’s ordered — most families receive their first delivery within two weeks. Every letter is prepared with care to ensure it feels truly magical from the moment it arrives in your mailbox.

Replies and the Hero’s Handwritten Hello

Can my child write back to their hero?
Absolutely! Every Classic and Legendary Hello includes a special reply envelope marked with our official seal. That’s the only way mail can travel safely back to a hero’s world.

What happens after my child writes back?
Once your child sends their reply using the official reply envelope, their hero will be ready to write back, but only after a Hero’s Handwritten Hello has been purchased. Both the reply envelope and the add-on must be in place for a personalized, handwritten response to be sent. When those two pieces come together, the magic continues and your child’s hero will craft a one-of-a-kind handwritten letter inspired by your child’s own words and imagination.

Can I mail a letter without a reply envelope?
No. Only letters sent through official reply envelopes can reach our heroes’ desks.

Shipping and Delivery

Do you ship internationally?
At this time, The Heroes Hello ships within the United States only. We hope to expand our delivery zones as our magical mail system grows!

What if my letter hasn’t arrived yet?
Magical mail sometimes takes time! If it’s been more than 3 weeks since your order, please check your confirmation email and contact us for help.

Can I choose any hero I want?
Yes! Every letter from The Heroes Hello is written in the voice of your child’s favorite fictional hero. You can request nearly any character from stories, films, or legends — just share their name when placing your order. We kindly ask that all heroes be fictional characters, not real people.

Do you offer gift options?
Yes! You can send any letter or bundle as a gift — simply enter the recipient’s name and mailing address at checkout.

What ages is The Heroes Hello best for?

The Heroes Hello was originally created to help children connect with the characters who inspire them most, but we believe our letters can brighten any person’s life, no matter their age. After all, we all need a hero sometimes.

During checkout, you’ll be asked to share the age of the recipient. This helps their hero craft a letter that feels just right — whether it’s for a young dreamer, a growing reader, or an adult who could use a little magic in their mailbox.

Is my child’s personal information safe?
Absolutely. We take your child’s privacy very seriously. Any information you share—such as your child’s name, interests, or favorite hero is used only to personalize their letters. We never sell, trade, or publicly share any personal details.

Do you store or share my child’s letters or information?
We never share children’s information publicly or with any third parties. The Heroes Hello securely stores the details needed to fulfill and support each order—such as your child’s name, mailing address, and your contact email. These records are kept in secure, private storage for operational, customer-service, and recordkeeping purposes.

For creative reference, we may retain generic, de-identified copies of letters to inspire new story templates and maintain consistency across our heroes. These versions never include any personal names, addresses, or identifying details.

You may request at any time that we delete your child’s personal information from our records once your order has been completed.

Who writes and reads the letters?
Every letter is written and reviewed by a small, background-checked creative team at The Heroes Hello. No outside contributors, volunteers, or third parties ever handle children’s personal information or correspondence.

Can I request my information be deleted?
Yes! You may contact us at any time to request permanent deletion of your child’s information or correspondence. We’ll remove all personalized data while keeping only generic, non-identifiable templates for creative continuity.

Why do you need my child’s name or hero preference?
This limited information allows us to make each letter feel magical and authentic, addressed directly to your child from their chosen hero. We collect only what’s needed to create that personalized experience.
